i can crawl!!

last night mommy and daddy put me down on my belly so i can play with my toys and i started to crawl all by myself!!! mommy and daddy are both so proud of me! they think i look kind of funny though because i put my face down on the floor and stick my butt up in the air and push myself, but i crawled that way to the other side of my blanket! I'm also an expert at sitting up by myself now and when I'm laying down i try to pull myself up to sit...I'm not a big fan of laying down anymore now that i know i can sit, but sometimes I lose my balance and fall backwards :) but i don't cry i just try to sit back up. Mommy and daddy are so amazed by everything and how fast I'm growing...I'm not really sure why they are surprised...they should know that i am the most perfect baby in the whole world and i can do anything! he he ;)
a few weeks ago i really surprised them....mommy put me in my crib and i would put myself to sleep every time it was nap time. but now my teeth are starting to come in so i am in a little bit of pain so i cry a little if she puts me in my crib because i want her and daddy to hug me and rock me to sleep since I'm in pain...mommy hopes that once i feel better I'll start putting myself to sleep again!

sorry it's been a while!

sorry i haven't posted in a while...we have been really busy!! we finally moved into our new apartment and we are all unpacked...i started sitting up on my own and now when mommy feeds me i try to steel the spoon from her and feed myself...mommy thinks it's funny! I have had a lot of visitors too! my friend tyler came over to visit me and mommy let him feed me and i love his cheeks so i was pinching them the whole time :) my dede and anneanne came to visit me also last week...i love it when they come over! yesterday my auntie amanda came to see me and to say goodbye to us because she is going to move to New York this weekend!! We are going to miss her very much!! Mommy and amanda's friend Noelle came over too and she brought over her son Kaden...he is 2 months old. he is so adorable! mommy couldn't believe that i was once that size! Now we are all getting ready for christmas!!!

Mommy & Daddy

Mommy, Daddy and I have been spending a lot of time together because Daddy didn't didn't feel good so he didn't go to work for a few days... I like it when Daddy stays at home and I get to see him all day long!

I'm 4 Months Old!!!

I went to see my doctor yesterday for a check up. I got 4 vaccinations and a cried a little bit but then I was all better! And I got 4 pretty heart bandaids. My doctor said I weigh 17.2 Pounds...that's almost 10 pounds more than when i was born....wow I'm growing fast!! And I'm 26 inches long....at this rate i'm going to be taller than mommy and daddy...hehe!
My doctor also told mommy that i am ready to eat baby food....mommy was in a little bit of shock...she doesn't want me growing this fast!
This morning mommy tried to feed me solid food for the very first time.....i was a little confused because i just really wanted my bottle i am not really sure how to eat from a spoon but mommy said we are going to work on it everyday so i can learn.

Trick Or Treat...Smell My Feet......

Grandma bought me a pumpkin costume for my first halloween! It was bright and orange and i loved to stare at it! We didn't go trick or treating for Halloween beacuse daddy has been working a lot and wasn't feeling very good on halloween...so mommy put my costume on me and took some pictures...I think it was a good thing that we didn't go trick or treating because it was way too hot for me to wear my costume for a long period of time...here are some pictures of me as a pumpkin!! Aren't I just the Cutest!!!

My Dede & Anneanne

My Dede & Anneanne came to visit me last week, they try to visit me every few weeks, but i won't see them again till my very first christmas next month. I love it when they come to see me...I start laughing and giggling the second they walk through the door...They start talking to me in Turkish and I respond more to them then I do when anyone speaks to me in English....Mommy is going to teach me a lot of Turkish...she is teaching daddy right now too.
My anneanne makes me laugh the most...she is very funny...and they both love me so much!! I can't wait to see them at christmas and i hope my Aunt Ebru comes too!!

My Friend Tyler

Last week I went to my friend Tyler's house and played with him while mommy and daddy caught up with Tyler's parents, Jason and Victoria...they are really nice they even came to visit me at the hospital when i was born. And when I was in Mommy's tummy i went to Jason and Victoria's wedding...mommy said it was beautiful! Tyler is a little older than me but we still had a lot of fun. Mommy and Daddy just rented a new apartment that we are moving into next weekend and it is very close to Tyler's house...Maybe I can see them more often! here are some pictures of us!

Joey & I

Joey and I have been having a lot of playdates over the last few weeks! we have a lot of fun together! He is going to have a new baby brother soon so he is practicing how to play with a little baby...he is really good with me. But sometimes he tries to play catch with me and since i don't know how to play yet (keep teaching me joey, i'll learn soon, I promise)i get hit and i cry a little....but i'll learn soon! I really like when joey comes over and plays with me. :)

I rolled over today!!!

I rolled over for the very first time today!! Mommy put be on my pink blanket for some tummy time and she went to go get the camera to take some pictures of me and as she was turning on the camera i rolled over!! I have been practicing for a week now and i was able to go on my side but for the first time today i went from my tummy to my back!! here is a picture of me as soon as i rolled over!


We will post the video of me rolling over soon! Mommy caught my second time on video but daddy has to see it before anyone else does...sorry! I love you Daddy! :)
