Happy Easter!

My First Easter was a lot of fun! Mommy and daddy painted eggs the night before and made me a very pretty easter basket! I went to bed ealy because my teeth were hurting me a lot...and guess what today i had 2 of my top teeth come in!! I have 4 teeth now! Easter morning mommy put my easter dress, that Grandma bought, on me. and took lots of pictures of me!



It was so hot all day mommy and daddy decided to take me to the pool! this was my first time actually going in the pool. I looked so cute in my pretty polka dot bathing suit! but there were some very loud kids at the pool and they were scaring me so we left the pool early. Daddy said we can try again when there aren't a lot of people at the pool!

so guess what....i have 2 of my top teeth starting to come in now!! they are not out yet but mommy said she can see them ready and they should come in any day now!So mommy and daddy are trying to get lots of kisses now before those kisses turn into more biting!

Visitors

Earlier this month daddy, mommy and i went to vegas to visit my dede, anneanne, and aunt ebru. and my anneanne's sister, my great aunt Fatma and my dede's best friend Memduh were there also visiting from Turkey. And my aunt Fatma's husband Ozdemir is going to be coming from Turkey in a few weeks also to see me. See how special i am, i have visitors from the other side of the world coming to see me!! We got to bring Sasha with us too, but she had to stay in her kennel most of the time because Fatma is very scared of all kinds of animals.

I really liked my aunt Ebru's necklace so i kept trying to take it from her.

And earlier this week dede, anneanne and aunt fatma came to visit me at my house. my dede bought me a new high chair since i'm getting so big. i really love my new high chair!

Push Ups

I'm still trying how to learn to crawl forwards. I'm doing a great job moving around our apartment as long as there is nothing behind me, because i like to move bacwards or just roll around. But lately i've been able to pick up my belly off the floor so mommy and daddy say maybe i'll start crawling forwards soon!
Look it looks like i'm doing push ups!!

I'm Eight Months Old!

Wow...can you believe it, already 8 months old!! On March 4th my second tooth came in! Now instead of kissing mommy and daddy, i bite them!! haha! My dede and anneanne bought me a walker since i'm doing such a great job at standing up....but it seems that i do everything backwards...i crawl backwards and i walk backwards...i know i'm silly! Mommy and daddy are making sure they take several pictures of me everyday, they say that everyday i do something new and grow up so much even just between my naps! Here are some recent pictures!
Now i like to sleep on my side or on my belly...i hate sleeping on my back!

More teeth means more different foods i am allowed to eat! I am not sure how happy mommy is about that...it only means a bigger mess for her to clean up, haha!
Please don't bother me while i eat my spaghetti.....



Cucumbers are my favorite, i think i have enough seeds on my belly to plant some of my own...
