Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Tuesdsay the 27th was Daddy's 27th Birthday!! Since we have been on vacation daddy had to go back to work on his birthday. But when he came home from work mommy and i had his favorite dinner all ready for him. And we also baked him a cake! All day i kept saying happy day daddy...the word birthday is just too hard for me to say but daddy knew exactly what i was trying to say! He was so excited to hear me say that! After daddy blew out his candles on his cake he shared a piece of cake with me...i ended up eating most of the cake but i saved some frosting for him...haha! take a look!! Happy Day Daddy...I Love You!!!

Colorado

For the last two weeks, mommy, daddy, and i have been in Colorado. We went to go to my friend Daija's parents wedding. and after the wedding her parents, Jon and Blythe went on their honeymoon and mommy and daddy watched Daija and I for the week. We had a blast! The wedding was really fun! and we met a lot of very nice people. I was on the dance floor the whole time. i really love to dance! Mommy and daddy took us to the Denver Aquarium....did you know that there are so many different kinds of fish....i couldn't believe it!! and they were everywhere daija and i were so amazed by all the fish swimming around us! We also spent a lot of time hanging out at daija's house just playing toys and playing with her two puppies. i already miss Daija and her parents! it was really nice to see them. And guess what...while we were in Colorado i also started saying another word...Daddy!!! Yay! Daddy was so excited! And on our way back home on the plane i got to sit in my own seat like a big girl...it was really cool!!

Here is a video of me pulling myself up this morning while holding on to the couch and then taking a few steps! I can't take any steps without holding onto something, but I've got to start somewhere :) Enjoy!

10 months old!

I've been one busy 10 month old little girl! Mommy and Daddy have been chasing me around the house just to keep up with me. yesterday i pulled myself up holding onto the couch for the first time! I think I'll be walking soon, maybe by my 1st birthday! I've been a lot more talkative too! I can say mama, tata (for sasha, my doggie), ata (i say that when we are going out, it's in turkish) and baby. i can also wave hi and bye. I'm so smart!


Last month my great uncle Ozdemir, my great aunt Fatma and my Dede and Anneanne came to visit me and mommy and daddy for a few days. We had a good time. We went to Universal Studios City Walk and Downtown Disney.



Last week mommy and daddy took me to the pool and this was the first time i actually didn't cry. there was another little baby in the pool so i was playing with him so i enjoyed the pool a lot more. he took my mind off of being scared of the water.

Mommy and i have also been going to the park a lot. it's been very nice here in sunny Cali.


This weekend Mommy and Daddy took me to uncle mike and aunt heather's house for dinner. we had a great time.They ordered food from Pick Up Stix and everyone found out that i really enjoy brown rice. Uncle mike was playing with me while i was sitting on their counter and i grabbed the container of brown rice and ate a lot of it :) it was very yummy!! I was the hit of the night...i made everyone laugh cuz every time they spoke to me i gave them my evil laugh...it was funny!
